What business majors and minors can I choose at Boise State?

Boise State encourages interdisciplinary learning. We also offer students with any non-business majors the option for a +Business minor or certificate to learn the business basics.

We partner with over 120 local businesses each year for class projects and recruiting opportunities. We also have opportunities like our student-managed investment fund where students manage real money and returns go to student scholarships.

How long does it usually take to graduate with a business degree?
Around 87% of our graduates finish their degree in four years, but it depends on your course load, transferred credits, and whether you do internships or study abroad.
Is there an honors program for business students?
Yes! The Boise State Honors College offers a program designed for high-achieving students across all majors, including business. Students in the Honors College benefit from personalized attention and resources similar to those found in smaller private schools, while still having access to the broader opportunities of a large university.
Does Boise State offer accelerated business programs?
Yes—we have 4+1 programs in Economics that let you earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in just five years, including options for the MS and ME in Economics. The Master of Accountancy also offers an accelerated MSA program for select undergraduate students.

Yes! We offer a growing number of business courses online, and some degrees can be completed fully online—especially at the graduate level. For undergraduate students, we offer fully online Accountancy BBA and Management BBA degree options.
