Bio
Nick Dyer has been working in the construction industry in some way for his entire career. He fell in love with the industry, first working as an apprentice electrician and then as a cabinet and countertop installer. After completing college, Nick worked as an architectural designer and a civil engineer on the design side of the industry. During this time, BIM started to take a much bigger role in the construction industry, and he started to implement this technology in the firms he had worked with. After leaving the design side of the industry, Nick continued to push BIM and other construction technology for general contractors as a BIM Manager, ICT Manager, and a Project Manager. During this time, he contributed to projects in Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Hawaii, Virginia, Wyoming, Nevada, and Oregon. He also became a leader in the BIM technology space and served as the president of the Wasatch Front BIM Users Group. During this time, Nick started teaching as an adjunct professor at Weber State University and then at Boise State University after relocating to the Boise Area. Nick continues to push construction technology in the treasure valley both as a lecturer at Boise State and as a member of the Boise BIM Users Group.

B.S. in Construction Management Technology from Weber State University, and A.S.S. of Architectural Graphics and Design from ITT Technical Institute.
