Boise State students participate in Data Science Hack-a-thon

Six persons pose, the first place winners
1st place was BD BSU with competitors CS BS majors Nokib Hossain, a ECE major Ashraf Shihab, ECE Md Mahmudul Kabir Peyal, PhD in Computing Tanmai Kumar Ghosh and Mostofa Najmus Sakib, all from Boise State.

In Time Tec hosted their first Data Science Hackathon on Saturday, September 27th, 2025 with competitors coming from Boise State and College of Idaho. Over 50 competitors signed up and the top 3 performing teams were awarded prizes of $300 (1st), $180 (2nd), and $120 (3rd).
