Laboratory
Characterization of the ceramic products is done in the Boise State Center for Materials Characterization, where the group utilizes X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy to examine phase assemblages and crystallography.
Specialized Equipment
The functional ceramics laboratory, located in the Micron Engineering Center room 416, is used for the processing and storage of ceramic materials. Specialized equipment is used for the processing of ceramic compounds.
