Summer Internships that appreciate the outdoors – ICC/NYC

Idaho wilderness - valley and mountains

My name is Andrew Tagge and I am the Internship Program Officer at Idaho Conservation Corps and Northwest Youth Corps. We are a regional conservation corps that offers paid internships with public land agencies, such as the Forest Service and National Park Service. Many of our internships are AmeriCorps-sponsored and several have “hire authorities” upon term completion that provide interns with a much more competitive status when applying for federal jobs.

We are in the midst of our large Spring recruitment push and have several internship opportunities currently open for application. I have provided a list below of our current internship opportunities in Idaho – each has a link to an online PDF of the position description that provides more information about job duties, term durations, and benefits. We will also be adding more internships to our website, NW Youth Corps Conservation Internship Program, across the next few weeks. Applicants can find our application website at this link, and I am more than happy to answer any questions at andrewt@nwyouthcorps.org.

Thank you in advance for your help sharing these positions and please let me know if you have any questions or would like any more information from me. Have a great rest of your week!
