{"id":239,"date":"2024-08-28T09:51:12","date_gmt":"2024-08-28T15:51:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/coen-slim\/?p=239"},"modified":"2025-06-09T09:47:54","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T15:47:54","slug":"robots-and-llms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/coen-slim\/2024\/08\/28\/robots-and-llms\/","title":{"rendered":"Robots and LLMs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Casey Kennington has been busy talking about large language models (LLMs) to educators, administrators, lawyers, and even took part in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ktvb.com\/article\/news\/local\/has-the-potential-to-be-enormously-helpful-ai-idaho-schools\/277-aa9351c7-2951-4b30-9ef0-0de41e4cffff\">panel on a local news channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One area of research that has been positively impacted by LLMs is robotics. LLMs are being used for&nbsp; robot planning, control, and even showing emotion.
