We’re becoming two departments in Fall 2021

The Department of Communication and Media is retiring.

Over the last 50 years our department has grown to serve more than 1000 students. As we enter our second half-century, we are making changes that enhance student opportunities, develop innovative programs and create memorable experiences for our students. At the end of the 2020-2021 Academic Year, the Department of Communication and Media will retire. In fall 2021 two new departments will take its place: the Department of Communication and the Department of Media.

What does this mean for our students?

In the Academic Year 2021-2022, our degrees and programs will be managed by the new departments. Changes to courses and programs are minor. Follow the links for more information.
