Biography

As the Public Relations Program Coordinator, Dr. Casper works with a team of exceptional faculty to deliver a rigorous and rewarding pre-professional PR program. She serves as the PR Internship Coordinator, working with students and internship providers to develop valuable learning experiences outside the traditional classroom. She is the Media Arts Coordinator and works with Media faculty in the Department of Communication to manage and maintain excellent programs in Journalism, Public Relations, and Television, Broadcast, and Digital Media Production; minors in Journalism and Media Studies; and certificates in Digital Media, Public Relations, and Sport, Information & Culture. Casper has a PhD in Communication with an emphasis in Media Rhetoric from North Dakota State University, and an MS in Public Relations and BA in Art with a Mass Communication minor from Montana State University-Billings. She has been at Boise State since 2006, and her life is filled with kids, dogs, and unfortunately, email.
