She also is a certified yoga instructor and personal trainer. She teaches a weekly class as well as working with the College of Idaho swim team.
Melissa views communication as an ongoing, ever-changing process that can lead to great satisfaction and contentment in our lives. The lack of productive communication can lead to discontentment, loss of productivity, and unfortunately in some cases violence. Thus, communication skills are of the most critical skills to acquire in order to achieve success personally, professionally and socially. Melissa enjoys the continued study that is required to teach these skills to others and interaction with a wide variety of students. She enjoys learning about new perspectives and people. She seeks to challenge her students to reach beyond what they now understand and achieve their greatest potential. Her students describe her as “challenging”, “knowledgeable” and “passionate”.
