Faculty and Volunteers

All faculty are invited and encouraged to participate in the spring 2021 commencement ceremonies. Registration is required due to COVID-19 safety protocols.

Please note: Staff and volunteers will be required to wear facial coverings at all times while working.

Faculty Registration

Friday, May 7 ceremony, 4 p.m.

Graduates from the class of 2020 (spring, summer and fall) from all colleges.

  • Faculty arrive – 3:30 p.m. Assemble in the Caven-Williams Sports Complex. Please do not leave items in the Caven-Williams Sports Complex. Boise State will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Ceremony start – 4 p.m. Faculty will lead the procession from the Caven-Williams Sports Complex to Albertsons Stadium through gate H, onto the field in front of the graduates and proceed to seats in section 7 and 9. Line leaders will be there to direct you to the correct section and seats. Socially distanced seating will be marked. The ceremony is approximately 2 – 2 ½ hours and faculty are expected to remain through the entire ceremony.
  • Recessional Honor March – conclusion of the ceremony.The faculty will exit sections 7 and 9 and proceed down to the field forming a receiving line at the north end zone. Graduates (now alumni) will exit the stadium past the receiving line to gates H and J.

Regalia rentals can be done through Jostens. A collection box for the return of rental regalia will be located in the Caven-Williams Sports Complex.

Saturday, May 8 ceremony, 10 a.m.

Spring 2021 graduates from the College of Business and Economics, College of Engineering, College of Health Sciences and College of Innovation and Design.

  • Faculty arrive – 9:30 a.m. Assemble in the Caven-Williams Sports Complex. Please do not leave items in the Caven-Williams Sports Complex. Boise State will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Ceremony start – 10 a.m. Faculty will lead the procession from the Caven-Williams Sports Complex to Albertsons Stadium through gate H, onto the field in front of the graduates and proceed to seats in section 7 and 9. Line leaders will be there to direct you to the correct section and seats.
