Biostatistics<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-biography\">Biography<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:23px\">Dave researches techniques in geometric deep learning, with a current focus on applying and extending the geometric scattering transform in deep neural networks, especially for biomedical applications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:12px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before joining the Program in Computing at Boise State University, he earned an MS in Biostatistics from the Colorado School of Public Health. There, he worked as a statistical analyst on studies of PFAS chemical mixtures, cystic fibrosis, childhood leukemia, and the epigenetics of Type I diabetes.
