The Boise State Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP) partners with the Idaho Digital Learning Alliance (IDLA) to provide college credit to Idaho high school students. Students who take classes through IDLA earn high school credit through IDLA and college credit through Boise State. Our partnership expands college access to high school students beyond the Treasure Valley and across the state of Idaho.
About the Idaho Digital Learning Alliance
The Idaho Digital Learning Alliance (IDLA) is an online course provider for high school credits. Their courses are offered for college credit through Idaho colleges and universities such as Boise State.
IDLA/Concurrent Enrollment Program Registration Requirements
Students work with their high school IDLA site coordinator to register for IDLA classes. Students must complete the registration process through IDLA and the Boise State CEP separately.
Steps
Step 1: Register for the course through IDLA.
Step 2: Register for the course through the Boise State CEP.
Age
Students must be 16 years of age and older to earn college credit through the Boise State CEP for IDLA courses.
GPA
Students must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.7 or higher to register for college credit through the Boise State CEP.

Our program provides college credit for the following courses taken through IDLA:
- ACAD 101 Academic Success Topics (3 credits, Fall/Spring)
- ACAD 108 Career and Life Planning (2 credits, Fall/Spring): recommended for juniors and seniors
- ART 100 Introduction to Art (3 credits, Fall/Spring)
- CS 101 Introduction to Computer Science Principles (3 credits, Year-Long)
- ECE 180 Introduction to Electrical and Computer Engineering (1 credit, Fall/Spring)
- MSE 101 Living in a Materials World (3 credits, Fall/Spring)
