COVID-19 Vaccines for People Vaccinated Outside the United States
For the best protection against COVID-19, the CDC recommends everyone stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines, including people who received a COVID-19 vaccine outside of the United States. A person is up to date with their COVID-19 vaccination if they have received all recommended doses in the primary series and one booster when eligible. The latest CDC guidance can be found here.
As always, it is important to consult with your primary care doctor regarding your vaccination decision. Boise State has its own Vaccination Clinic on campus, located at Campus School, 2100 W. University Dr. If you have questions about the vaccination process at Boise State, please reach out to them at email@example.com.
As you prepare for travel to the United States, we encourage you to follow CDC guidance for international travel.
If you do not meet the criteria for being considered fully vaccinated in the United States or have received a vaccine not approved by the WHO, we encourage you to follow the unvaccinated travel recommendations.
For more information, please visit the CDC guidance surrounding international travel.
Boise State does offer COVID-19 vaccines authorized for use by the FDA and are administered through our COVID Vaccination Clinic at no-charge. If you have been given a vaccine not approved and wish to be vaccinated with a FDA COVID-19 vaccine, we encourage you to speak with a healthcare provider before you make the determination to be vaccinated.
Upon your arrival to campus, you will be required to follow all return to campus public health protocols.
