Vaccination

Fully vaccinated individuals are able to resume certain pre-pandemic activities and may under certain circumstances be exempt from required testing and quarantine. In order to meet the definition of “fully vaccinated” an individual must be two weeks past their last dose of a COVID-19 vaccine series that has received full approval or emergency use authorization (EUA) from either the FDA or WHO.

  • Pfizer/BioNTech

FDA Full EUA approval

  • Moderna
  • Johnson & Johnson (Janssen)

  • AstraZeneca/Oxford
  • Covishield
  • AstraZeneca
  • Sinopharm
  • Sinovac

Travel

As you prepare for travel to the United States, we encourage you to follow the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for international travel.

If you do not meet the criteria for being considered fully vaccinated in the United States or have received a vaccine not approved by the WHO, we encourage you to follow the unvaccinated travel recommendations.

Boise State does offer all three COVID-19 vaccines authorized for use by the FDA and are administered through our Vaccination Clinic at no-charge. If you have been given a vaccine not approved and wish to be vaccinated with a FDA COVID-19 vaccine, we encourage you to speak with a healthcare provider before you make the determination to be vaccinated.

Upon your arrival to campus, you will be required to follow all return to campus public health protocols including any required testing.
