Our experienced research project managers handle the day-to-day details — planning, operations, onboarding, communications and strategic development — so you can stay focused on your research.

Based on your project’s demands, we offer customized support. Our services include:
Best for the PI or research team seeking support in planning and implementing research-focused events.
(Research events are conferences, symposiums, workshops, convenings and meetings that fulfill the outcomes or objectives of a funded research project’s outcomes or goals.)
Provides 5-10 hours per week of project management support for three months.
Best for a PI or research team looking for support in launching their project. Anyone looking for help organizing, planning and setting up the project in the critical first 90 days, or receiving funding. RPMG research project managers assist with developing project work plans and team charters, developing working meeting schedules and facilitating all start-up communications. They can also help hire, train and onboard a full-time project manager.
Provides 15-20 hours per week of project management support for three months.
Best for a team, a grad student or a postdoc interested in learning more about project management or needing some training on managing a current project.
Our research project managers can present short 2-4 hour workshops or intensive 4-, 8- or 12-week training for postdocs, PhD or graduate students on professional research project management topics.
Provides either a one-time workshop or a 4-12 week training.

The research project manager’s expertise in research methodologies, project timelines and fluency in navigating the Boise State research ecosystem is leveraged to offer tailored advice.
Provides one free 30-minute consultation and monthly or weekly meetings until issues are resolved.
