Idaho Positive Behavior Network
Increasing Idaho’s student achievement through creating an integrated system of sustainable support at the school level to meet every student’s needs.
From 2015 to 2020, the Idaho Positive Behavior Network provided training to schools across Idaho regarding Schoolwide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS). SWPBIS is a framework for assisting school personnel to adopting and organize evidence-based behavioral interventions into an integrated continuum that enhances academic and social behavior outcomes for students.
We strive to continue to offer Schoolwide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS) training to increase student engagement in academics, to improve student behavior, and to enhance school culture and climate. PBIS gives educators a new way to think about behavior and is a framework for assisting school personnel in adopting and organizing evidence-based behavioral interventions into an integrated continuum that enhances academic and social behavior outcomes for ALL students. Additionally, it is the only approach to addressing behavior that is specifically mentioned in IDEA law and is implemented in all 50 states.
