Tier 1 Schoolwide PBIS Training Institutes

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) gives educators a new way to think about behavior and is a framework for assisting school personnel in adopting and organizing evidence-based behavioral interventions to increase academic and social behavior outcomes for ALL students. Outcomes of implementing PBIS include:

  • Decreased bully behavior
  • Increased academic performance
  • Increased safety
  • Decreased problem behavior
  • Creates positive school cultures that makes a school a more effective and equitable learning environment
  • Builds capacity for educators to implement effective evidence based practices

Cost: $4000 per team of 5
(1 identified Implementation Leader, 1 Administrator, and 3 Additional School Staff Members)

  • $800 per additional member (includes all 4 days)
  • Training cost includes: Team Registration Fee & Team Training Materials

Many schools participating in PBIS Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Training Institutes have utilized several state, district, and/or local funds to cover the cost of training, including:

  • Title I and Title II Funds
  • Safe and Drug Free School Funds
  • Parent Teacher Organization Funds
  • School Improvement Funds
