As the Mobile Learning Specialist, I work with faculty in the development, implementation, and evaluation of courses, using best practices and emerging technologies to improve the quality and effectiveness of a learner-centered environment. My position supports specific academic programs in the exploration and development of mobile-specific strategies throughout the program curriculum.
In addition to one-on-one faculty development consultations, I manage and support the following mobile learning programs; MLearning Scholars 1.0 and 2.0. (Cohort Groups), MPrograms (Department Wide), Mobile Learning Institutes (Multi-Day Conference), Mobile User Groups (Campus Community) and the Mobile Device Checkout Program (Campus Wide). My position also involves faculty training, workshop creation and facilitation, marketing and multimedia asset creation, and social media communication.
I am a proud graduate of the Boise State Master in Educational Technology program and have enjoyed an accomplished career as a creative director and graphic design instructor. In my free time you’ll find me outdoors, competing in a triathlon, creating art or playing with my dog.
