A Choose-Your-Own-Learning-Adventure Event
Are you an adjunct instructor looking to grown your teaching skills? Interested in learning alongside fellow adjuncts about pedagogy, AI, digital accessibility, classroom management, and more? Need a boost of motivation and community as the semester wraps up?
Join us for Adjunct Teaching Day on April 20th! The Center for Teaching and Learning designed a conference-style day of events built entirely around your teaching and learning interests to support you and the learning experience of your students.
This isn’t your typical “sit and listen” conference. Multiple, concurrent interactive workshops are offered throughout the day, allowing you to create a personalized experience. View the full agenda! Sessions are offered in hybrid and virtual formats to ensure you can join us from wherever you are.
Space is limited. You may apply for a half-day experience (2–3 workshops) with a $100 stipend or a full-day experience (4 workshops) with a $150 stipend.
Complete the application form to apply. The application review process will begin April 10th.Â
To ensure an impactful experience with different viewpoints for all participants, applications will be prioritized based on these criteria:
- Preference will be given to those currently teaching in-person courses
- We aim to represent a wide array of academic departments and course subjects
- We are seeking a balanced mix of first-time CTL participants and seasoned CTL veterans
- Selection will consider a variety of attendance preferences
