Join us for the Spring 2026 Service-Learning Exhibition on April 29, 2026, anytime between 4:00–6:00 pm in the Simplot Ballroom in the SUB.
Students will showcase how they applied their coursework to current community issues, contributed to meaningful community impact, and deepened their learning. You’ll see how experiential learning, combined with community engagement, adds value to each and transforms both.
At the exhibition, you can:
- View student posters and presentations highlighting service-learning experiences and outcomes
- Explore a range of service-learning models and project examples
- See the breadth of community partnerships across disciplines
- Connect with students and learn from their work
Service-Learning is a teaching and learning approach that integrates course content with meaningful community engagement. Boise State offers over 150 service-learning courses each year across more than 30 departments, in partnership with over 80 community organizations and involving more than 2,500 students. The Service-Learning Program, housed in the CTL, provides support for course design, implementation, and assessment.
Each semester, the exhibition highlights the scope and impact of this work and offers an opportunity to engage with the students, faculty, and partners involved.
