  • Are you working on a SoTL Study and seek a community to support your progress goals?
  • Do you have ideas for an upcoming SoTL Project and want accountability?
  • Are you interested in regular uninterrupted research and writing time?

Community Of Practice

This Community of Practice provides a supportive, structured environment for instructors with some experience with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) to advance their current or future research projects.

Regular community meetings will help faculty:

  • be part of a supportive scholarship community
  • implement research and writing productivity best practices
  • maintain research and writing accountability
  • set realistic progress goals for in between meeting times

This program is ideal for instructors who

  • would like community around and support for their SoTL research
  • would benefit from structured writing and/or research time

Program Details

  • Day/Time: Thursdays 12:00 – 1:30
  • Dates: September 10, October 8 & 22, November 5, December 10 January 28, February 11, March 11, April 1, April 29
  • Hybrid: In person (Center for Teaching and Learning, ILC 315) or via Zoom
