The Mobile Learning Scholars program is currently on hold due to COVID-19 and campus closure. Please check back in the future for more information.
Boise State has been exploring mobile learning since Fall 2010. Beginning in Fall 2011, the university formally launched the Mobile Learning Initiative (MLI), a cooperative exploration of mobile learning led jointly by four campus partners, and involving faculty from every college and many academic programs. The Initiative and related exploration of mobile learning have been featured in “EDUCAUSE Review Online” and “Academic Impressions.”
Among other undertakings, the MLI has implemented mobile learning in individual courses, provided opportunities for intensive faculty development in mobile teaching strategies, integrated mobile learning across entire academic programs, vastly expanded networking infrastructure and e-content offerings, and augmented a complete redesign of Boise State’s undergraduate curriculum.
