The Journey, Not the Destination: Active Steps Towards More Welcoming Academic Environments

At the end of this SparkShop, participants will be able to immediately implement one strategy for making their courses more inclusive and articulate a plan for integrating more strategies in the future.

During this SparkShop, participants will learn about and discuss the importance of inclusion. Participants will explore a variety of inclusive practices that can be incorporated at the course level. Finally, participants will develop and share action plans for incorporating one or more practices introduce during the SparkShop into their course.
