{"id":66362,"date":"2025-02-19T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-02-19T16:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/ctl\/?p=66362"},"modified":"2025-09-15T11:09:54","modified_gmt":"2025-09-15T17:09:54","slug":"open-educational-resources-and-affordable-learning-materials-certificate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/ctl\/blog\/2025\/02\/19\/open-educational-resources-and-affordable-learning-materials-certificate\/","title":{"rendered":"Open Educational Resources and Affordable Learning Materials Certificate"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Affordable Learning Materials Taskforce is pleased to announce the new professional development certificate for educators at Boise State: the Affordable Learning Materials (ALM) Certificate.&nbsp; Participants can earn the ALM Certificate after completing the following six workshops: <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Introduction to ALM<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Introduction to Open Educational Resources<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Creating Accessible Open Educational Resources<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Using Pressbooks for Open Educational Resource Development<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">More than Textbooks<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em>Customizing OER&nbsp;<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The six workshops, a collaborative effort of Albertsons Library, the Center for Teaching and Learning, the Department of World Languages, the eCampus Center, and other partners, are designed to provide comprehensive training and support for instructors.
