Every month, we are recognizing \u201cEveryday Teaching\u201d in our monthly newsletter. Join us in congratulating April Masarik (Psychology), and Katie Conley (Education) who have been nominated for their everyday teaching. She has put extensive thought into the design of her courses to create a welcoming environment where students learn from and build meaningful relationships with each other. She scaffolds up genuine learning and growth such that all students have the opportunity to rise to her high expectations. Students love the regular free-writing exercises that get them applying the material to their own lives, reflecting, and giving meaning to what they are learning.
