{"id":67657,"date":"2025-03-28T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-03-28T16:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/ctl\/?p=67657"},"modified":"2025-04-04T11:28:48","modified_gmt":"2025-04-04T17:28:48","slug":"faculty-development-team-publishes-on-pandemic-professional-development","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/ctl\/blog\/2025\/03\/28\/faculty-development-team-publishes-on-pandemic-professional-development\/","title":{"rendered":"Faculty Development Team Publishes on Pandemic Professional Development"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teresa Focarile (CTL), Sarah Lausch (CTL), Meagan Haynes (Program Evaluation and Research Lab), Brittnee Earl (CTL), Susan Shadle (Provost Office), and Lisa Berry (eCampus) recently had an article published in <em>To Improve the Academy: A Journal of Educational Development<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The article, titled &#8220;They came, they engaged, they changed: Evidence of impact of intensive pandemic professional development&#8221;, examines the impact of an intensive professional development program developed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The study found a positive correlation between educational development initiatives and improvements in faculty\u2019s use of evidence-based instructional practices.
