While preparing for finals and wrapping up grading can be a hectic time, it\u2019s also a valuable opportunity to pause and reflect\u2014on what you\u2019ve accomplished, the challenges you\u2019ve faced, the opportunities you\u2019ve embraced, and the questions or curiosities that still linger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reflecting on your teaching practices is a powerful way to grow as an educator (in fact, we offer a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/ctl\/eventsandprograms\/certificates\/reflective-teaching-practice-certificate\/\">Reflective Teaching Certificate<\/a> to support this very process!). To help guide your reflection, we created a simple <em>Reflection Pyramid<\/em>. Take as much or as little time as you have to consider the following prompts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>1<\/strong> Aha moment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2<\/strong> Things that worked well<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>3<\/strong> Things that brought you joy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>4<\/strong> Big takeaways<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>3<\/strong> Changes you want to make<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2<\/strong> Goals for next semester<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1<\/strong> Question or curiosity you currently have about teaching<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As this semester wraps up, remember that a new one will begin before you know it.
