The CTL is ready to help you open that door and transform your classroom observations into meaningful, shareable research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-engage-with-sotl\"><strong>Why Engage with SoTL?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>SoTL isn\u2019t just &#8220;another thing&#8221; to add to your plate. It is a way to make the hard work you\u2019re already doing in the classroom count toward your professional goals. By treating your teaching as a site for inquiry, you can strategically collect evidence to see exactly where students are thriving and turn pedagogical innovations into peer-reviewed publications or presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-the-ctl-supports-your-journey\"><strong>How the CTL Supports Your Journey<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you are &#8220;SoTL-curious&#8221; or ready to launch a full-scale study, the CTL offers a range of supports tailored to your schedule:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>SoTL Grants Cohort:<\/strong> Connect with colleagues across campus who are equally passionate about the &#8220;how&#8221; and &#8220;why&#8221; of learning. The CTL offers a year-long program that guides you step-by-step through designing a study, navigating the IRB, and collecting data. Complete with a $1,000 research grant to support your project. Registrations for the 2026\/2026 cohort starting in August will open soon!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Consultations:<\/strong> Not sure about your idea?
