Join&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/hes\/\">Human Environment-Systems<\/a>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boisestate.edu\/physics\/\">Department of Physics<\/a>&nbsp;for a mini-symposium to bring together Unoccupied Aerial Systems (UAS) users at Boise State and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 6 in the CI+D Innovation Incubator Space (2nd floor of Albertsons Library), with the option to join remotely. Light refreshments and lunch will be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/5ksAycc7eLSpBapo6\">Register for the event by March 23<\/a>&nbsp;to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event will feature research lightning talks, collaborative break-out groups, opportunities for informal poster presentations and equipment show-and-tell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Planned break-out group topics include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grants for UAS-based research and education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing partnerships with other academic programs, industry partners, and government agencies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Needs on campus: open practice time, monthly speakers, UAS student club, a drone library<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1OePIhxk5bILvZJJuZKp4NgbHnCn7Ys-GFMrgbNrQTPc\/edit?usp=sharing\">A working agenda for the day has been posted.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Interested in discussing how to expand the drone community at Boise State?
