TRIO Day of Service

Our TRIO community is proud to celebrate National TRIO Day of Service. It has been a busy week for our students and the dedicated professionals guiding their college and career journeys.

On Thursday, our Melba and Nampa students attended the Discovery Center of Idaho for Micron Technology ’s Going Tech workshop, inspiring many middle school students to explore careers of the future.

On Friday, our South JH and Parma middle school students participated in the Women Innovators TechGirlz event, returning to their schools energized and excited for the opportunities ahead!

Today, 70 of our scholars volunteered at the Boise State College of Engineering Engineering and Science Festival, where they connected with the community, engaged with mentors, enjoyed interactive presentations, built an inspiration board, and most importantly, learned that no dream is too big and no career path is the same .

Thank you to all of our community partners, colleagues and TRIO friends who continue to invest time, talent, energy and resources in youth development.
