TRIO Upward Bound Visits Idaho Observatory

After a long one-hour drive, our Boise State University TRIO Upward Bound students arrived at the Bruneau Sand Dunes Observatory. It was a beautiful evening to take a walk along and on the sand dunes. We all enjoyed the beautiful scenery, being outdoors and watching the sun set. After a spectacular sunset, we headed back to the observatory for an educational presentation about Stargazing. When the presentation finished, we ended our night viewing the stars through telescopes. For many of us, this experience was our first time looking through telescopes and seeing the stars!
