On Saturday, September 7th, 2019, new students from the TRIO Rising Scholars and TRIO Teacher Preparation Programs gathered on campus for New Student Orientation day. The all-day event was an opportunity for new TRIO students to meet and get to know their fellow cohort members, as well as TRIO staff and peer mentors. Students participated in activities and games, learned the history of TRIO, and practiced their creative writing and public speaking skills by completing short poems about their lives.
We would like to offer a warm welcome to all new TRIO students. We look forward to getting to know you this year!
