Maggie Dillon presents at Undergraduate Research Showcase

Congratulations to Maggie Dillon, elementary and special education teacher candidate, for presenting her work on 3D printed assistive technology devices at the Lightning Talks held on April 17.  The virtual poster session will also be held virtually on April 24. Whether completed for a class project, as a research assistant, or an independent project, the Undergraduate Research Showcase provides students opportunities to showcase their research to our campus community.

Maggie Dillon, elementary and special education teacher candidate, presented her work on 3D printed assistive technology devices at the Undergraduate Research Lightning Talks.

Along with undergraduate students Joseph Fritz and Kierstyn Heilbrun, Maggie Dillon worked with Lisa Beymer, clinical assistant professor in early and special education, through the UCREATE (Undergraduate Collaborative for Research in Equity and Access in TEaching) project, to create individualized, customized supports for local high school students with disabilities. Their work was displayed at the VIP/Maker Showcase and featured on local news.
