Murphy Woodhouse is the Mountain West News Bureau Reporter at Boise State Public Radio. As a former Idaho-based wildland firefighter, wildfire is a major focus of his coverage. Since starting at Boise State Public Radio in 2023, he has covered cultural burning practices among the Karuk of Northern California, the growing homeowners insurance crisis across the West, wildland firefighter health, efforts to expand prescribed burning, and many other stories related to this region-defining phenomenon. He has worked as a reporter in Arizona and Northern Mexico and is now proud to be reporting in his home state of Idaho.

Bryant Kuechle is Executive Director of The Langdon Group and a recognized senior-level facilitator who specializes in working with diverse groups of interest-holders on a range of issues to resolve conflict and develop collaboratively-supported decisions. His focal areas include water resources, public lands management, species management, transportation, energy, and mining. Bryant is an Advisory Board Member of the University of Idaho McClure Center for Public Policy Research. He received his B.S. from the University of Idaho and his M.A. from Washington State University.
