Melissa Wintrow
Senator Melissa Wintrow is the Idaho Senate Minority Leader serving her third term in the Idaho Senate after completing three terms in the Idaho House of Representatives. She currently serves on the Health and Welfare, Judiciary and Rules, and Joint FinanceAppropriation Committees; and co-chairs the Idaho Joint Legislative Oversight Committee, a bipartisan committee that reviews valuable research that informs legislative policy. She has more than 30 years of leadership experience in higher education and has drawn on her experience as a Women’s Center Director and Gender Studies instructor to inform her policy work in the legislature. She is on the advisory board for the National Institute for Civil Discourse, State Legislative Program. Her legislation has focused on supporting victims of sexual and domestic violence; she has successfully passed a series of bills to transform how the state processes, tracks, and preserves sexual assault evidence. She successfully worked to revise Idaho’s sexual battery laws and repealed the egregious law that allowed for spousal rape. She is a bold champion of human rights, reproductive freedom, the LGBTQ+ community, and affordable housing and health care for all who need it.
Mike Krause
Mike Krause is an executive coach and mental performance strategist with Global Bound, LLC where he works with organizational leaders and their talent to harness mental performance hurdles and enhance psychological wellbeing in-and-out of the workspace. Mike has over 25 years of executive experience in the nonprofit sector, including serving 4 ½ years with the US Department of State in Southern and Central Africa, focusing on public health initiatives. Additionally, Mike serves as an executive coach for the “Idaho Leads” and “Ascending Leaders” programs through the Idaho Nonprofit Center. Mike is working on his Master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology while co-hosting a weekly podcast and traveling the region speaking about workplace wellbeing, meeting our foundational needs, and the power of mental fitness.

Noelle is a self-published author of fifteen books under two pen names: E. N. Crane and Noelle Rider, the sole human worker of Perry Dog Publishing, and a government employee. She created the Perry Dog Publishing imprint to start her small business, participate in local in-person events, and conduct direct sales-first in California and then in Idaho. She holds a master’s in industrial and organizational psychology from Capella and a B.S. in biology with a minor in philosophy and chemistry from the University of Oregon. Nancy Buffington is an English professor turned public speaking coach and trainer. She uses psychological, physical and practical approaches she developed at Stanford to help people learn to speak with clarity, confidence, authenticity and even joy. Her clients range from musicians to doctors, entrepreneurs to lawyers; they come from industries ranging from biotech to insurance to land conservation. Nancy helped start TEDxBoise and has coached TED and TEDx speakers on four continents. She is the speaking coach for Idaho Listens, a community connection-across-differences event held across Idaho since 2022. She has a large and boisterous blended family with five fabulous sons and two cats. When she has time, she sings her heart out with a Boise-based band, The Soulmates.
