Restoring the way forward
Restoring the way forward with regenerative recreation
What if every hike, ride or run could help heal the land?
On Boise’s trails, researchers are putting that idea to the test. Set against the backdrop of Boise’s expansive trail system, this documentary introduces a growing tension between outdoor recreation and environmental sustainability.
Through early trial experiments in asynchronous restorative tasks, researchers are studying how everyday trail users might independently contribute to small acts of restoration while they move through the landscape.
