Climate Adaptation and Mitigation

Recent IPCC reports indicate that our climate is changing rapidly with negative consequences for our natural environments, working landscapes and communities.

The School of the Environment seeks proposals for projects to help our communities and environments mitigate or adapt to these changes.

Proposed projects should clearly articulate the changes being addressed, the mitigation or adaptation approach, be interdisciplinary and include a significant community engagement component, ideally incorporating a co-development process.

Curriculum Focus

Boise State has several diverse options for excellent environmental curricula and programs. However, the training needs for environmental careers are changing along with the evolution of the challenges and opportunities in the environment.

The School of the Environment seeks proposals for projects to design new curriculum — programs, minors, certificates, pathways, etc. — or improve and/or align existing curriculum to further enhance the success of our students.
