Discover what’s new at the Boise State University College of Engineering’s 25th Anniversary Kickoff during our Open House on July 21, beginning at 4:00 p.m. We will meet in the lobby of the new Micron Center for Materials Research for food and drinks and small introduction before heading out on guided tours of the engineering complex including: Micron Center for Materials Research, Harry Morrison Civil Engineering Building, Engineering Innovation Studio, and other college research spaces and future site plans.

We have a limited number of parking spaces available in the Lincoln Parking Garage near the Micron Center for Materials Research. We will reserve a parking opportunity for you when you RSVP for the event (if wanted).

Join us as we highlight the College of Engineering’s faculty and staff research spaces, new state-of-the-art facilities, and the incredible faculty, staff and students who have helped double the amount of research expenditures across the college over the last 5 years. Learn more about our proposed renovations, expansions, and the new ESI Building for Construction Management.

Open House Schedule
4:00 – Assemble at the Micron Center for Materials Research lobby on the first floor of 1437 W University Drive for light food, drinks, and introductions.
4:10 – College of Engineering Dean JoAnn S. Lighty State of the College Introduction
4:30 – College of Engineering Research Overview, How We Work and Who We Work With
4:45 – Guided Tours of the Micron Center for Materials Research, Engineering Innovation Studio, future space of Studio/Blu and New Product Development Lab, and more research spaces.
6:00 – Tours Wrap Up
