Exhibit Talk – The Alliance That Defeated Fascism

April 25 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm MDT

On April 25, 1945, U.S. Army forces and Soviet Russian troops met at the Elbe River in Torgau, Germany, dividing the country from East to West and essentially crushing German fascism. That day led to the final surrender of Nazi Germany on May 8.

Join exhibit curators Kent Kiser (BA, History, ’22) and Dr. David Walker on April 25, the anniversary of the day the troops met. Learn more about their library exhibit commemorating these momentous events.
