GradPrep Day One

10—11 a.m.: We are GSSC
The Graduate Student Success Center offers several programs designed to help assist students find success in many different academic pursuits. From our writing assistance program, Bronco Finish Line, to our GradSkills and GradWrite programs, the GSSC caters each program to fit your specific needs (and we’ll get to know you along the way). Join us to find out what we offer and how to engage with us from day one on campus. We are here to help you succeed!
11 a.m.—noon: The Importance of Mentorship
Mentorship is a key aspect of student success! The Graduate College supports and encourages mentorship and this session will help students learn about what to look for in a mentor and the opportunities the Graduate College hosts for students to connect with mentors.
Noon—12:30 p.m.: Parking and Transportation Services
Learn about where and how to park on campus and ways to keep safe. Come prepared to ask questions of the parking experts (they’ll certainly have a list of do’s and don’ts) and learn a little about how to navigate on campus.
12:30—1 p.m.: GradWell
Student mental health and well-being are very important to Boise State and its graduate student community. GradWell is a partnership between the Graduate College, and the Boise State Counseling Center to provide access and information to students who are struggling or in need of assistance. Learn more about what GradWell and University Health Services have to offer to keep you healthy!
