Local Service Project: River Clean Up

September 24 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm MDT

Did you know Boise State has “adopted” the section of the Boise Greenbelt that runs through campus?  As part of National Public Lands Day, come do your part to keep this awesome space clean and safe for students and the community. We will be picking up trash, removing graffiti, and pulling noxious weeds.  You’ll work alongside members of the Boise State Environmental Club and learn about the greenbelt ecosystem, native and invasive species, and preservation tactics.

– Gloves, garbage pickers, and trash bags will be provided.
– Please bring water.
– Please wear closed-toed shoes you don’t mind getting dirty and are comfortable on sloped surfaces.
– Pants are suggested to prevent scratches from plants along the Greenbelt and river area.
