Local Service Project: Zoo Boise EGGstravaganza!

What better way to welcome spring than at Zoo Boise and their annual Easter EGGstravaganza!  Join us for the festivities as zoo animals spring to life from their hibernation and wintering and as families flock to the park for a fun-filled day.  As a volunteer, you’ll help manage stations and activities that include face-painting, passing out candy to children and families, and even a photo shoot with the Easter Bunny.  It’s bound to be a wild time!

– The event takes place on Saturday, April 8th, at Zoo Boise (located in Julia Davis Park, just across from campus).

– Our volunteer shift will be approximately 4 hours, from 9:00am to 1:00pm.  We’ll plan to meet at Friendship Bridge at 8:45am and walk over together.

– A volunteer waiver will need to be signed in advance.  We’ll have copies printed off for you and you’ll just need to sign when we meet at Friendship Bridge.

– Please dress appropriately and for the weather.  Light refreshments will be available; however, we encourage you to bring your own water bottles as well.
