Mission43, an initiative of the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation, is a statewide military and veteran program providing Idaho service members, veterans and military spouses resources to excel academically and to successfully transition to Idaho careers after their military service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhen it comes to education, employment and engagement, Mission43 provides Idaho\u2019s military, veterans and military spouses opportunities and resources faster and better than any other state,\u201d said Mission43\u2019s Education Director Alison Garrow. \u201cWe are a growing community who all believe there is much more to accomplish after the military.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This partnership seeks to assist currently serving military members, veterans and military spouses with educational opportunities on their path to success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership with Mission43 includes two launch initiatives: implementing a concierge-level higher education service model for Mission43 members and ensuring that every Airman in Idaho earns their Associate of Applied Science through the Community College of the Air Force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Concierge-level higher education service program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The concierge-level higher education service program aims to provide educational opportunities for service members at all stages in their lives and careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This service initiative provides program exploration, application assistance, financial guidance and career planning for Mission43 veterans, military service members and their spouses. Additionally, the Boise State Military Programs will provide all Mission43 members with an application or intent to enroll fee waiver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both Boise State and Mission43 understand that each veteran, service member or military spouse has unique education needs. Through the concierge-level higher education service program, service members can receive the individualized support they need to further their education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) completion program will assist all Idaho Airmen in completing their Associate of Applied Science with no additional student out-of-pocket tuition expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CCAF completion program offers courses in a distance learning format, allowing students to pursue their degree anytime, anywhere. A fully online pathway allows active duty, guard and reserve airmen to complete their Associate of Applied Science through the Community College of the Air Force in less than one year by satisfying general education credits at Boise State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Service members can complete their CCAF degree at no cost when using Federal Tuition Assistance and the Boise State Tuition Assistance Promise Program. With personalized advising from start to finish, service members can complete their CCAF degree and continue pursuing education beyond an associate\u2019s degree with a seamless transition into Boise State bachelor\u2019s degree programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
