Navigating the Student Financial Aid Portal

These instructions will help you navigate to your Student Financial Aid (SFA) Portal, upload documents to your SFA portal, and add a guest to your SFA portal. There are also instructions for guests to set up their SFA Portal account on this page.

We also have instructions on how to accept or decline financial aid in the SFA portal.

Access & Navigate Your SFA Student Portal

  • Log in to myBoiseState and access your Student Center.
  • Navigate to the Student Homepage tile.
  • Select the Financial Aid tile.

  • Select View Financial Aid and Aid Year 2027.
View financial aid option is at the top of the menu on the left. The link to aid year 2027 is at the top of the table with all aid years listed.
  • When you log in, be sure to select the STUDENT log-in button below the PARENT/GUEST Login section.

  • The STUDENT log-in button will bring you to the Boise State sign-in page. Log in using your Boise State email and password.
  • The first time you log in, you will be asked to Accept Electronic Consent. Select Accept & Continue.
  • You are now in the SFA Student Portal! In the SFA Student Portal, you can view any requested documents, notifications, messages, and manage guest access.
