Bronco Recharge

Bronco Recharge is a program to help students who are struggling academically to stay connected to Boise State while attending the College of Western Idaho (CWI). Students work with a Bronco Recharge advisor to develop academic skills and habits with the intent to return to Boise State and earn their bachelor’s degree.

Who do we support?

Bronco Recharge is designed to support Boise State students who are on academic probation, have been academically dismissed or are struggling academically for a variety of reasons, including:

  • Financial difficulty
  • Large class size
  • Difficult commute
  • Different learning style
  • Lack of experience
  • Work/life/school balance

  • Work toward completion of lower-division courses at CWI to fulfill Boise State degree requirements
  • One-on-one support from Boise State staff
  • Opportunity to earn an associate degree
  • Support navigating CWI’s academic requirements and connecting to resources
