Idaho Innocence Project

The Idaho Innocence Project at Boise State University is dedicated to helping Idahoans who have been wrongfully convicted. We investigate valid claims of actual innocence through meticulous case reviews, forensic DNA testing and litigation. In conjunction with Dr. Greg Hampikian’s DNA laboratory, we have helped free three Idaho prisoners and more than a dozen others across the country. So far this year, 40 letters from Idaho inmates have been received and five cases are under active investigation.
