What You’ll Do

• Devote about two hours per week to your Ambassador duties;
• Attend an initial training session and monthly Ambassador meetings;
• Contribute to creating a more inclusive and interconnected global community;
• Share your experience and authentic insight with prospective international students;
• Develop leadership skills;
• Have fun!

Requirements

To be eligible you must:

• Be a current, full-time Boise State student;
• Be an international student or study abroad returnee;
• Be comfortable with creating content (particularly video content) featuring YOUR experience at Boise State that will be shared with prospective students;
• Have completed at least one academic year if you are an undergraduate student or at least one semester if you are a graduate student;
• Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above.

What We’ll Expect

International Admissions will expect Ambassadors to:

• Exhibit strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills;
• Create genuine connection and foster a sense of belonging;
• Be proud representatives of Boise State;
• Work in collaboration with other Ambassadors;
• Take part in improving the International Student Ambassadors Program.
