Pre-Nursing Team

The Pre-Nursing team’s goal is to empower students to make informed decisions in their higher education experience and road towards the Bachelor of Science in Nursing. We understand that the transition to higher education can be both challenging and rewarding. We aim to stand as a support system for students during their time at Boise State and are excited to find new ways to strengthen the Pre-Nursing student population community as well as to provide opportunities to learn best practices for becoming the strongest candidate. The Pre-Nursing advising team is dedicated to students by providing support services to focus on overall student success. We show this dedication by:

• Practicing student centered advising
• Providing students with both on and off campus resources
• Supporting students working towards academic, professional, and career goals
• Hosting a variety of events to aid in student development
• Creating an environment that promotes student growth and success
• Cultivating relationships with students
• Referral to other departments and programs when appropriate
