Awards
The College of Health Sciences (COHS) is accepting faculty applications for graduate assistantships (GAs). These are two-year GA positions that will be awarded on a competitive basis. We plan to fund two GA positions for academic years 2027-2029.
The GA award will provide tuition support, a stipend, and health insurance coverage for a graduate student. GAs are expected to provide 20 hours of weekly research support to their faculty mentor for the duration of the two-year award. Per Boise State University Policy 7170, a student must be enrolled in an active, graduate degree-seeking program to qualify. This means that undergraduates, students in accelerated master’s programs, and those pursuing only graduate certificates are not eligible.
COHS does not have a standalone GA policy; some schools or departments may have additional GA requirements. Please confirm with your school dean or director.
