Listening Tour 2019

April 2019

Boise State cares deeply about our students’ experience. Judging by its continued growth and the energy on campus we are doing well in this regard. Boise State’s success is created from the amazing employees here who continue to drive student initiatives. Because of all this hard work and innovation, Boise State is an amazing place to work. However, there is always room for improvement. In his university address this Fall, Interim President Schimpf said, “I don’t think it’s in Boise State’s DNA to sit around.” It is clear that Boise State always looks for the next ways in which it can improve and grow.

In that spirit, Boise State is conducting a campus-wide Listening Tour to get a sense of how employees are feeling about their employment experience. The Listening Tour will include a brief anonymous survey. Additionally, for those who want to participate, there will be a series of interactive and engaging focus groups geared toward suggestions for positive change.

Human Resources will be sharing the results of this self-study campus-wide. Employee input is critical to building a campus-wide approach of focusing on employees, their needs and continuing effort to create a work environment that promotes employee engagement and fosters inclusivity.

Friday is the last day to participate in the 2019 Listening Tour:
