Silver Creek Hummingbird Monitoring

Coming Soon!

We are planning a new hummingbird monitoring station at The Nature Conservancy’s Silver Creek Preserve! We hope to launch this exciting project in the spring of 2021 when hummingbirds return to the valley. Our hummingbird work is research-driven conservation science, but kids and adults will delight in the opportunity to see these flying gems up close.

Along with our Idaho City station, this research will help us understand and conserve Idaho’s Hummingbirds as part of the Hummingbird Monitoring Network (HMN) and the Western Hummingbird Partnership .
